65 Trees for 65 Years

Celebrate 65 years of the Peace Corps by helping us plant 65 native trees at Fairfax County’s Jefferson Manor Park in Alexandria in collaboration with Fairfax County Park Authority which manages the parkland and Fairfax ReLeaf which is donating the trees. Our hands-on service will create vital wildlife corridors for birds, pollinators and other native species while actively sequestering carbon to combat local climate change and provide cooling shade for our community. Join fellow RPCVs to leave a “domestic dividend” that strengthens our environment for generations to come. No experience is needed—just bring your energy and a desire to give back to the home soil.

If you cannot dig, no problem! Please join us to enjoy the outdoors, the RPCV community, music & snacks!

All welcome, including family, friends, and allies of the Peace Corps!
