Focus: “Bringing the World Back Home with a Cookbook from Your Country of Service” – a discussion led by the cookbook creative team of Babusya’s Kitchen: Recipes for Eating & Living Well in Ukraine.
Members of the RPCV Alliance for Ukraine produced this amazing cookbook that has already raised over $100K, funding 60 mini grants for Ukrainian communities. The presenters include Ukraine RPCVs Sandy Jacobs (2005-2007), Virginia Pasley (2006-2008) & Raisa Alstodt (2019-2020). Learn how they created this project and be inspired to produce a cookbook of your own country of service. Bring along a cookbook from your own Peace Corps country to share.
Date: Sunday 11/17/24 at 5pm – 8pm
Location: In Annandale, VA. At the home of Meredith Hendrick (Turkmenistan 96-98) and Lee Hedrick (Senegal 97-99). We’ll send you the location address when you register!
Please bring a main dish, side or dessert and a beverage to share. Please feel free to wear clothes from your Peace Corps country of service. We hope you can join us!
